Miracle Monday with Aiden!

Aiden wasn’t afraid to go to the doctor anymore after The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile came to him. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a state-of-the-art pediatric clinic on wheels developed through a strong partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. The unit is designed from the ground up to meet the specific well-care and treatment needs of children, and is staffed by pediatric doctors and nurses from Nationwide Children’s.

After Aiden was seen by the staff of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, he was no longer afraid and has been enjoying visiting his friends at the Nationwide Children’s Olentangy Primary Care Clinic and Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders ever since. The experts at the Center know that for each child, the severity of symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), a group of neurologically based developmental conditions, can range from mild to severe. So they provide individualized structured and comprehensive interventions to significantly improve each child’s quality of life.

When 10-year-old Aiden is not in school, he enjoys video games, art, and anything to do with science. Now he likes the Mobile Care Unit so much, when he sees it at different events he even tries to give tours so other kids like him will like them too.
