Building Relationships and Connections

Hello, I am Daivion Greene-Tucker and I am a senior psychology major at Wittenberg University. After Graduation, I am going to get my Ph.D. in counseling Psychology. This summer I have been lucky enough to intern with Nationwide Children’s Hospitals’ Healthy Neighborhoods Healthy Families. I found out about this magnificent opportunity from my Mentor who I met through Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She was generous enough to send an email to some of her old colleagues. They responded in a timely manner allowing me to be a part of this great program.
In this department they are the hidden heart of the hospital. They help build public relations, and they help to connect donors with the different departments in the hospital that need funding. The importance of their work is immeasurable. From the very first day I started, I have loved this department. They are always eager to introduce you to great people that share the same interest, or people who can help you on your career path. As a psychology major, mental health is very important to me. At Nationwide Children’s Hospital they have terrific staff that are dedicated to making sure any child that needs help gets the care they need.
