Painting the Future with JOANN’s

JOANN’S, Thank you for offering a creative space for our patient champions to express themselves, think big, and dream colorfully.

We were honored that one of our incredible JOANN teams, JOANN at Polaris Parkway, invited us to bring some of our patient champions and their families to enjoy a day of creativity!

Many of our patients have been touched by the art therapy programs offered to our in-patient units at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Our art therapy is so much more than some paint, pencils, and a clean slate to express your imagination.

Our art therapy programs have proven to support positive coping transitions with hospitalizations, fostering self-expression, and even promoting a sense of comfort and normalization.

What better opportunity, than to connect some of our courageous, patient champions with the most creative team members in the world at JOANN?

Our art instructor for the day crafted an art plan for the kiddos to paint the famous, Squish mallows. But this only allowed them to let their imagination grow and create their dream squish mallow: including bright colors, fun animals, and even some jewels to add a fun flare.

Thank you to our JOANN team members for creating a day full of laughter, smiles, and long-lasting memories! We could not ask for a better collaboration with our newest, CMN partner!
