Ace Hardware is the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world with more than 5,400 locally owned and operated hardware stores in approximately 70 countries. Here in central Ohio, there are 26 Ace Hardware locations that raise funds directly impacting Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The other 5,374 locations support their own local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.  Ace is your local hardware store, and they take pride in being a part of your community. Ace owners are hard-working men and women and are part of the fabric of your community. They are small business owners who are local and loyal…just like it ought to be. Throughout the years, Ace has remained small and very personal.

since 1991. Ace retailers not only pride themselves on being well-connected with their communities, but also want to give back locally to their neighbors, friends, and families. Supporting their local CMN Hospital, like Nationwide Children’s Hospital, is the perfect opportunity to do so.

2020 brought on a challenging year for Ace Hardware. The home improvement and hardware industry experienced an increase throughout the pandemic. Ace Hardware experienced this increase in business which put a strain on their supply chain and store operations. They had the most challenging, but most rewarding year in their almost 100-year history.

In 2020, Ace Hardware across the globe raised more than $17.9 million for CMN Hospitals, bringing their total giving to $140 million since 1991. Here in Central Ohio, Ace raised over $75,000 for the kiddos at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Ace and CMN Hospitals are celebrating 30 years of partnership this year!
