Guinness World Record Broken!
On May 11th, volunteers from Nationwide Children’s Hospitals team, Columbus Crew fans and other community members broke the world’s record for the longest chain of sports fan scarves to be tied. More than 1,000 scarves that were measuring at 4,848.56 feet, were spread across the new Columbus Crew stadium, the Lower.com Field.
Crew fans started to purchase the scarves in October to help support Nationwide Children’s Hospitals “On Our Sleeves” movement to raise awareness for children’s mental health. “On Our Sleeves” is a movement that helps families guide conversations with their children and get a better understanding about problems their child may be going through during these difficult times.
