Birdie Bash Fun

On May 24th PGA hosted their annual Play Yellow Birdie Bash to raise funds for not only Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, but for Cincinnati Children’s and Dayton Children’s. Play Yellow Birdie Bash is a fundraising event that features the Southern Ohio club professionals who compete in a two-man scramble to raise money by trying to make as many birdies/putts as possible in an 18-hole course but playing up to 72 holes! Overall, the players raised up to $267,000 in total that will be evenly distributed to all 3 of the children’s hospital mentioned.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital had our Patient Champion Payton representing the Columbus hospital. Payton had a blast driving around in the golf cart meeting the players and watching them swing away! Herself and some of the other kiddos enjoyed making a couple birdies/putts by the help of the players! We cannot thank PGA and their players enough for their contribution and dedication to help the kiddos at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
