Quacking Our Way into The Columbus Duck Race

The Columbus Duck Race, presented by the Development Board of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, is a fundraising event that supports pediatric research at the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s. The institute supports the discovery of new knowledge and its translation into novel therapeutics and diagnostic tests to advance pediatric research and improve the health and quality of life for children and their families. The impact on children who previously had little hope has been truly remarkable.

The Development Board of Nationwide Children’s Hospital is proud to host the 12th annual Columbus Duck Race! The race will take place on Saturday, July 22nd at Riverside Crossing Park, just steps away from Dublin’s popular Bridge Park community.

The Columbus Duck Race gives individuals, companies, and organizations near and far the opportunity to join in the fun and make a difference. Duck “racer” entries can be purchased online and at pop up spots throughout the season (May-July). Race day will attract hundreds for a spectacle like no other, as thousands of rubber ducks race to the finish line down a 300ft slip and slide to support pediatric research.  Each rubber duck is assigned a number so you can cheer on your duck friend and have a chance at winning a cash prize! Our top three winners will be plucked from the race and announced by our patient champion. 

Duck race entries are available for purchase in a variety of quantity options. Example: $25 = 3 ducks. A single duck entry is $10.00. Each entry is assigned a number corresponding with the duck(s) prior to the event. Numbers will be provided to the purchaser prior to the day of the event.
